Sun Hwa finds work at a baking company with great difficulty. There she meets Jin Kyung, an old acquaintance from her middle school days. When some of the senior workers warn her to stay away from Jin Kyung, Sun Hwa realizes that her old friend has been systematically bulled as the only woman at work. The bullies further ostracize Jin Kyung using Sun Hwa’s terms of employment as an excuse, and even tries to get her fired. The film is a fine portrayal of ethnic dilemmas forced upon workers in poor working conditions as well gender discrimination they face at work. (Source: JIFF)
